100 years ago a great Terran empire collapsed, throwing many sectors into apocalyptic situations. Many statelets have sprouted from it's ashes, some worlds have never recovered, but the biggest new kid on the block is the Terran Republic, formed from the empire's core regions. Recently, the Marusian Republic has willingly joined the Terrans as a new governate, that combined with rumors of an imminent Marusian invasion of Hostrow's capitol have lead to armed workers' revolt in Rubble, where the new Governate's largest shipyards in the region lie
Hostrow lies in wait to see if the revolt truly does throw a wrench in Marus' plan, the Electorate Worlds barely hold together with their internal feuds, and the Co-Prosperity Federation is itching for a chance to flex an industrial might that challenges Marus.
Trinity, home of the aliens known to humanity here as the Nomads, enjoy the relative peace in their ark ships parked on an ice planet, but their order of Psion Knights are ready for anything.
